Playa Q 2007 Late Registration

Yes the official last day to join Playa Q was July 13... but for those drunk and disorderly folks who missed the date and still want to camp with us we have room for about 10 more Playa Q camp members. Check out the "Request Membership" section of Playaq.com to sign up. Then pay your dues ($200 or $225 whichever you can afford). Then contact Athena to sign up for your 3 work shifts and volunteer for the Art Projects. Slackers... you will get a spanking at the Uber Bar on playa!

Saturday August 25 Tuesday September 4

PRE EVENT -- Saturday August 25 - Sunday August 26
Playa Q camp setup. You must be on the list and have a special early entry pass to get in the gate -- Cooky is handling logistics. This is not party time although we will have fun while we work. Our access numbers are limited this year... not everyone in camp will get in early.

BURNING MAN WEEK -- Monday August 27 -- Monday September 3

Repeating Events:

  • Ancient Gallery Open black light art on display, Monday Saturday, dusk dawn The Ancient Gallery crew
  • Camp Lunch Monday 8/27 Sunday 9/2 11:30 AM 2:00 PM -- TBone
  • Ubercarney Bar open for Camp Lunch, Monday Saturday 11:30 A 2:00 P, Cueball
  • Ubercarney Bar Open for Playa Q Campers, Guests and Public-- booze, beatings and more, Monday Friday dusk approx Midnight Cueball
  • Magic Kitchen public food giveaway approximately 1:00 PM most days Rev Smoke & the Bacon Dancers!

Monday August 27

  • Camp Welcome 11:30 AM, Ubercarney Bar, MANDATORY for all Playa Q campers if you are on playa -- Athena & Cooky will hand out your passes to eat camp lunch, cover the key camp infrastructure how to's and answer questions. Then we all get a chance to eat lunch together and start playing together.
  • Ubercarney Bar Opens to Q Campers and Invited Public at Dusk-- bring your ID we only serve 21+. If we like you we might spank you. You're welcome to take a spin on the stripper poles and break them in. Greate chance to get to know fellow campers

Tuesday August 28

  • Crash & Burner Party sponsored by Chef Pimp & Angry Butterfly, held in the Ubercarney bar, Dusk --??

Wednesday August 29

  • Carne Armada Run approximately 5:00 7:00 PM -- Admiral Pain Joy
  • Post Armada Celebration -- approximately 7:00 PM Ubercarney Bar
  • Great Canadian Beaver Eating Contest in RSD tent, approximately 8:00 PM 1:00 AM, coordinated by Soss Boss, Wicked Sunshine, & Camp Counselor Brad

Thursday August 30

  • Rock Star Dinner -- if this event is more than a rumor, it might happen by Invite Only Thursday evening, Soss Boss might know something about it if you were interested in working
  • Dancing on the Poles at the Ubercarney Bar -- Dusk until 19's tired

Friday August 31

  • Iron Chef Competition Great Gumbo Conspiracy-- High Noon in the Kitchen, Soss Boss
  • Dancing on the Poles at the Ubercarney Bar -- Dusk until it gets boring or the booze runs out

Saturday September 1

  • Carne Armada Run approximately 4:00 6:00 PM Admiral Pain Joy
  • Camp infrastructure tear down begins get to 30 % tear down by end of afternoon.

Sunday September 2

  • Camp infrastructure tear down is our key focus get to 90% tear down
    All Camp LNT Big Sweep!
  • Fire Bar public food giveaway and performance post Temple Burn, approximately 10:00 P Midnight Reverend Smoke

Monday September 3

  • Final Camp Tear Down, Truck Load and LNT Sweep Need people to stay late, contact Cooky if you can stay Monday.
